This thread is to discuss this case https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-66462895 and it's legal remifications and any resulting legal action that might take place. I will probbly re title this thread once the press / courts settle on a psudonym for the girl in question.
The case summerary as reported in the press so far the autistic girl (TAG) is 16, had been drining and was picked up by the police and driven home. At some point TAG made a stament reported by one source as saying the female police constable "looked like her lesbian nana." At this point the girl was sat quietly in her home when the police decided to arest and restrain her. Much of this was arest was caught of video which has been posted online. (It's dificult to get the uncut origional source since tiktoc has taken it down but this is what I could find https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8n5gr9)
It's worth mentioning that there is prior case law on police forcefully restraining autistic people in ZH v The Commissioner of Police for the Metropolis (https://www.stammeringlaw.org.uk/zh-v-t ... etropolis/)
